Michael Matthew Maddox

Moving to Flagler County at age 7, Mike attended Bunnell Elementary School, from there continued his education at Flagler Palm Coast High School. During this time Mike made life-long friendships that last to this day.

Mike was ambitious with a strong work ethic. He worked as a property manager for 30 years.

Mike loved GOD and his church. He attended Flagler Beach Community Church. However, Mike's second love second to GOD was that of his family, with his partner Joe and his two beautiful dogs Cocoa and Sweetie Pie, Mike resided in Palm Coast for many many years. Celebrating life with family and friends was his greatest passion.

Mike enjoyed collecting antiques, remodeling his home, decorating especially for the holidays. Mike also had an interest in preserving Flagler County and was interested in the Flagler Historical Society. Mike enjoyed good food, fun times and good friends and a large extended family.

Mike was survived by his loving partner Joe of 25 years, his sister Tracy Maddox and nephew Charlie Reed, as well as - a mother in-law and father in-law, and two brothers in-law and sisters in-law that reside in Ohio. Also 8 nieces and nephews, ranging in age 38 years old to age 3. Also 6 surviving blood cousins and one aunt that resides in Southern Illinois.

And many, many life long friends.

Mike only wanted happiness and joy instead of tears related to his passing. A beautiful and heartfelt fun memorial service with great food, great music and drinks will be held soon. Updates will be posted on Facebook as well at Flagler Beach Community Church.
