Norma was born December 12, 1931 in Cincinnati, Ohio a daughter of Benjamin & Josephine Laedeke Conrad.
After raising four daughters she received her nursing degree, and enjoyed a wonderful career. After the death of her husband she retired and moved to Florida where 3 of her daughters joined her. She enjoyed family vacations, and most of all being a wonderful Mom, GMA, and GiGi.
Her husband John “Jack” Rainey passed away in 1978.
Norma leaves her three daughters, Michele (Patrick) Blake of CO., Rhea (Arthur) Cosgrove of Palm Coast, and Beverly (Andrew) McDonald of CO; Five grandchildren, Nichole Roberts, Kristina Lankry, Jack Cosgrove, Samantha and Michael McDonald; Two step grandchildren, Christine Harkin of CA and Matthew (Sarah) Blake; Five great-grandchildren, Dawson, Gabriel, Liam, Benjamin and Emory; one brother George “Bob” Conrad of Ormond Beach.
Besides her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Dawn Rainey, and her sister, Betty Jo Smith.
Family and friends will be received Friday, October 22, 2021 from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home in Flagler Beach.
