Born on April 4, 1951, in New Oxford, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Rodney and Doris (Lawrence) Noel. Odilia grew up in Irishtown and was a proud graduate of Delone Catholic High School. Following her education, she began her career with the State of Pennsylvania for several years before serving as an Administrative Assistant for the Farmington Valley YMCA in Granby, CT.
Odilia lived a life filled with kindness, grace, and devotion to her family. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures — playing cards, pickleball, biking, walking, reading, and collecting recipes. She loved trips to the beach, traveling with her family throughout the Caribbean, the United States, and Europe, and, above all, she delighted in shopping adventures shared with loved ones. Odilia had a gentle and peaceful spirit, and her family was truly the heart of her world. She also shared a special bond with her beloved cat, Rosie.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years, John A. Tatasciore, whom she married on May 29, 1976; three cherished daughters, Andrea N. Tatasciore of Manchester, CT; Katrina A. Paiva and her husband James of Danielson, CT; and Emily L. Tatasciore and her husband Phillip Cox of Little River, SC; her sister Audrey Small and husband Ken of McMurray, PA; and three brothers, Rodney Noel and wife Teresa of West Lafayette, IN. Patrick Noel and wife Bette of Springfield, IL, and Daniel Noel and his wife Jean of Red Lion, PA. She was the proud grandmother of six grandchildren — Chloe Heslin, Emma Heslin, Jackson Heslin, Olivia Paiva, James Paiva, and Ridley Cox — each of whom brought immense joy to her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Memorial Mass celebrating Odilia’s life will be held on Thursday, November 20th, at 10:30 a.m. at Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church in Flagler Beach, with Rev. Msgr. Michael Servinsky officiating. Inurnment will follow at Flagler Memorial Gardens.
