

Rosamond A. (Huff) Kimball Smith, 90, of Palm Coast, Florida, passed away on February 9, 2024, at the Windsor of Palm Coast. She was born on May 16, 1933, in Lunenburg, Massachusetts, to the late Irvin and Edna Huff.
Rosamond married her first husband, Donald Kimball, on April 29, 1951, and together they had seven children. She worked as a Project Manager for Digital Equipment Corporation for 15 years. Following her retirement in 1995, Rosamond and Donald relocated to Palm Coast, Florida. Sadly, Donald passed away on October 11, 2000. Rosamond later found love again and married Norman Smith on September 14, 2002. They shared many wonderful adventures until Norman's passing on June 13, 2013.
Throughout her life, Rosamond was an active member of several organizations, including the Palm Coast United Methodist Church, Lions Club of Palm Coast, and the Happy Wanderers Walking Club. Her interests included walking, sewing, traveling, and knitting, but above all, she cherished spending time with her large family.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Rosamond's memory may be made to the Palm Coast United Methodist Church Building Fund and the National Park Service.
Rosamond was preceded in death by her daughter, JoAnn Kimball, in 1959; husbands, Donald Kimball in 2000 and Norman Smith in 2013; as well as her sisters, Marjorie Grout, Audrey Carpenter, and Betty Clapp.
She is survived by her children: Thomas and his wife Wanda Kimball, Cynthia and her husband Martin Webb, Timothy and his wife Penny Kimball, Charles and his wife Sharon Kimball, Susan and her husband Robert Boerjan, Joan Keenen; step-children, Sherry Congleton, Janice Goschke and Scott Smith; brother, Rodney Huff; 14 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Rosamond will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, resilience, and kindness will continue to inspire those whose lives she touched. A private family services will be celebrated at their convenience.
