Mark,I found out about your sudden demise from our mutual friend Ernest Gonzales.
I remember hanging out in the parking lot downtown on weekends and drinking beer and raising hell with you;Nick Farek;Kenny Keith Hubbard and Randy Wehmeyer,to name a few.
Now the old ways and days are gone.
Hard to believe that the last time I saw you and Ronnie Craig Owens at Czhilispiel in 2006,seven years later,you'd be gone.

Mark was one of my best friends growing up and the Werlein family was my second family. We did some crazy things together from grade school through college in San Marcos. In most recent years I would get to see him at Czhilispiel and visited with him on Sunday while he showed me his trike motorcycle. He was always good with building things and mechanics. He will be missed by his family and friends. He had a tough exterior but a gentle soul and loving heart. God bless you.

Mark was always such a pleasure to be around.  I fondly remember Mark sitting outside the house as I ran or rode by on my bike.  It was always a great excuse to stop my excursion for a chat on the front porch.  Terri, may you and the boys find peace and strength that only comes through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  Your strength through the years has been a testimony to how great Our Lord is, especially through trying times.

Teri.  I'm so sorry.  I just found out yesterday, read a 10 day pld Facebook message from Joanne Banks.  I had so enjoyed visiting with you and Mark last month.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Teri and family. Mark was a wonderful person to know and love. May God's grace keep you and strengthen you one day at a time.

I was blessed to visit with Mark for about 30 minutes Sunday of Czhilispiel. It will always be a  treasured memory in my heart.

We went to Church with Mark and his family.  He will be sorely missed.  He always had a smile on his face and always welcoming with a handshake.  My condolences to the whole Werlein family

I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, not even to physical death. Their existence continues to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love. This is not a goodbye but a see you later.
