Casimira Mary Harchick

HARCHICK, Casimira M. – Age 76, of Flint went to be with her Lord Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at her home. Mrs. Harchick was born October 31, 1934 in Flint the daughter of Frank and Mary Magiera. She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, the Rosary Society, Fatima Group and P.A.R.A. Mrs. Harchick was a graduate of U. of M. School of Nursing and worked for 40 years in the nursing field as a Registered Nurse retiring from the Genesee County Health Department. She loved to read, spend time with her grandchildren and watching sports especially her Detroit Tigers. Surviving are her children, Regina (Dick) Arieas of Riverdale, CA, Michael Harchick of Flint, William (Joan) Harchick Jr. of Fairborn, Ohio, Ann (Dan) Zimmerman of Coarsegold, CA., Dr. Elizabeth (Ali) Farahbod of Houston, Texas, Stephen (Sarah) Harchick of Grand Blanc, and Michelle Harchick of Clio; grandchildren, Katelyn, Nicklas, Billy, Robert, Steven, Alexander, Benjamin, Jackson, Grant and Kathryn; brother, Steven Magiera and sister, Phyllis Stempien. Mrs. Harchick was preceded in death by her husband, William Harchick Sr., sister, Irene Seidel, and brother, Eugene Magiera. Friends may visit the family from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Reigle Funeral Home. The Rosary will be prayed 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, September 10, 2011 at All Saints Catholic Church. Father Anthony Majchrowski will officiate. Burial will follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
