Fifteen years have passed since Don left us to be received into Heaven.  I still cherish the memories of his kindness and the happiness he brought to everyone he met.  I also enjoyed working with Don at the CHR.  What an amazing person!  I feel so privileged to have known Don.

Some days when I am thinking of my Dad I come here and read all of the wonderful things everyone thinks about him.  It makes me cry, but it also makes me feel incredibly proud to be the daughter of a man whom so many people truly loved and admired.  He is still my hero and I am still a Daddy's Girl.  Thank you for sharing all of your thoughts with us, you will never how much it has meant to me, and our family.

I met Don in Washington,D.C .When the Red Cross Emergency Medical Response sounding board was put togather ,Don was a true expert in emergency medicine and very down to earth ,we shared may conversations and ideas .He loved the Red Cross and the UAW .My God bless and comfort his family and friends.

It was a pleasure working with Don on the American Red Cross EMR program.  He will be sincerely missed.  Your family will be in my heart and prayers.

I was stunned, and still am, to hear the news of Don's passing. Don was a dedicated volunteer, an expert advisor for the American Red Cross Emergency Medical Response (EMR) Program revision project team and just a great guy. He was respected by all and could always be relied upon to offer sound advice. All of us at national headquarters and the project sounding board offer our deepest sympathies, thoughts and prayers.

Don was a very joyfilled person.  I attended several courses that he taught within UAW-GM and he was very dedicated and passionate about safety.  He really had a way with making people laugh when they were stressed.  He will be missed, the Center for Human Resources will not be the same without him.

I just moments ago learned of the passing of Don.  I am deeply saddened by the unexpected loss of this wonderful man.  He was a joy to work with & around at SPO.  He & Cliff helped emergency calls run like a well oiled machine with the organization, wealth of knowledge & experience he shared with the first responder team at SPO, Swartz Crk.  God bless his family & dear friends.  I am praying that God will bring you peace as he helps you through this loss.

Dear Mrs. Gregory,  I was shocked to learn of Don's untimely passing. My name is Judy Bourdeau and I am a nurse at GM World Headquarters in Grand Blanc, Mi.  I had the privlege of working with Don when I was supporting our First Responder Team at WHQ.  He was such a kind, wonderful and intelligent man.  He always made learning fun.  And he had such a great sense of humor.  Cliff and Don were a dynamic pair.  I believe the world has lost a terrific man.  He saved many, many lives-many unbeknownst to us-but God knows.  I am sure he went straight to heaven, as he was always doing God's work here on earth.  I am so terribly sorry for your loss.  He always spoke so highly of you to me. I will be praying for you, your family and for Don.  But do pray to him-he is now one of God's angels.

The only thing that you can really take from this world when you pass is what you leave behind. Don is leaving quite a legacy of helping others. As a teacher, paramedic, firefighter, and Red Cross volunteer, he was committed to helping others and he will truly be missed.

Nancy, I don't know what to say! I probably spent more time with Don throughout my EMS career than anyone. I was thinking back on all the lives, and families that he, and I came in contact with.
