

Edward was born in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Lawrence Hogan and Donna (Todd) Doyle. Edward was a family man who did what he truly thought was best for his family. He enjoyed meeting new people, and getting to know them. Fishing was one of Edward's favorite hobbies, and he also loved animals. His faith in Jesus was extremely important to him. A Vietnam veteran, he served the United States Army from January 1970 to December 1972. Edward was a loving husband, father and brother and he will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Edward leaves behind, to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 35 years, Susan; children Adrianne Benfield, Michael Hogan, Kate Hogan and Alan Hogan; siblings Kathie Christoff, Coline (Gil) Fairchild, Billie Gray, Timothy Hogan, Corinne Dalton, Janine (William) Hogan-Fowler, Caroline Hogan and Donald (Amy) Doyle II; and many nieces and nephews.
Edward is preceded in death by his parents Lawrence Hogan and Donna Doyle, and sister Christine Hogan.
A committal service with Military Honors will be held for Edward at Great Lakes National Cemetery on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at 2:30PM.
