FLORES, Jesse, - age 83, passed away unexpectedly at home in Flushing on Monday, February 10, 2014. Mr. Flores, the son of Jose and Juanita Flores, was born in Flint on December 7, 1930. Jesse graduated from All Saints High School in 1949. Following high school, he went to work for General Motors and retired in 1991, with more than 41 years of dedicated service. Jesse was a proud member of UAW Local 599. In addition, Jesse served his country in the U. S. Army during the Korean War and was honorable discharged. He was proceeding in death by his son, Jesse Jr. and daughter, Linda Flores Green. Surviving are his wife of 60 years Katie, sons David and wife Jennifer of Medford, MA, Dan and wife Pam of Grand Blanc; grandchildren, Matt, Aaron, Madison, Nick, Greg and Marnie. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00AM, February 13, 2014 at All Saint's Catholic Church, 4063 W. Pierson Rd, Flint. Jesse will be laid to rest at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Flint.
