LAUNIUS, June E. – Age 90 of Flushing, died Thursday, June 21, 2012 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw. June was born September 15, 1921 in Caro, MI the daughter of Cecil and Iva (Milner) Taylor. She was a graduate of Port Huron High School. June was a member of Flushing United Methodist Church and volunteered with the Smile Program at Flushing Schools. She retired from Hurley Medical Center where she was a Unit Clerk for the Dialysis Unit. Surviving are her children. Janet (Ed) Stokes, Jori (Dennis) MacGirr, Jackie (Allan) Launius-Valentine, Tim Launius and fiancée, Chrysta Lienczewski; 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren. June was preceded in death by her mother, Iva Bennett, grandson, Jeff Stokes and granddaughter, Nichole MacGirr. A Memorial Service will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Reigle Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 6 p.m.
