SHEPARD, Scott Jeffery – age 59, of Flushing, MI, passed away February 20, 2016. Scott was born December 13, 1956 to Norman and Elizabeth Shepard in Flint, Michigan. He graduated from Powers Catholic High School in 1976 where he met and later married his high school sweetheart Theresa (Daniels) Shepard. Scott was a dedicated employee of General Motors for 38 years. Scott and Theresa resided in Flushing, Michigan where they raised their three wonderful daughters. Scott most enjoyed spending time with family and friends, golfing, his summers at Sage Lake and trying to convince everyone that he was the best at cornhole or any other game he played. Some of his proudest moments were the birth of his daughters, coaching his daughters and nephews in various sports and his hole-in-one on July 3, 2001 with his dad which made for a long weekend for the rest of us listening to him brag. Scott will always be remembered for his motto "everything is okay in moderation". Scott is survived by his wife and best friend Theresa of 36 years; daughters, Mallory (Tony Gerard), Paige (Justin Solack), and McKenzie (Benny Hill); parents, Liz and Norm Shepard; sisters, Pam Zeigler (Bill), and Ann Campbell; in-laws, Maxine and Jack Daniels, Susan Adams, Rich Daniels (Julie), Dave Wolbert; nieces and nephews, Zac Zeigler, Seth Zeigler (Carole and Mason), Jack Wolbert (Ale'), Stephen Wolbert, Renee Wolbert, Kyle Daniels, Kelsey Daniels, Spencer Adams, John Adams, Logan Daniels and Emma Daniels. Scott is preceded in death by Jeanne Campbell, Dan Adams, Karen Wolbert, John Daniels, his grandparents, and aunts and uncles. Per Scott's wishes cremation has taken place and a Mass will be held in his honor at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the Special Olympics of Michigan in Scott's honor. The family would like to thank everyone for their support during this time, especially Rich Daniels (as Scott called him, his little brother) for Rich's constant support and making him laugh all the time.
