CHANEY, SHARON K. of Flint, age 60, left the land of the dying to join the land of the living, Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral Services will be 4:00 P.M. Thursday, March 7, 2013 at the Reigle Funeral Home, 5501 W. Pierson Rd., Flushing, MI. Pastor Carl Petty officiating. Interment 11:00 A.M. Friday at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1: 00 to 8:00 P.M. and Thursday from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Sharon was born May 24, 1952 to parents Charles Sr. and Keatha (Temple) Lamb. Sharon graduated in 1970 from Beecher High School and Mott Community College School of Nursing in 1974, later retiring from the Genesee County Health Department as a Registered Nurse after 24 years of service. She married in Flushing, MI. her husband James Chaney. Surviving are husband James; son Terry (Jennifer) Chaney; grandchildren Nathan, Griffin, Gavin; sisters Sharlee (Mike) Hogle, Sarah Lamb; nephews and niece and Mike and Grant Hogle, Mariah Maser “M&M”. Preceded in death by her parents and brother Charles A. Lamb Jr. Contributions may be made to the North End Soup Kitchen.
