Aida Perafan, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at age 94. She is survived by her five children Sonia, Elizabeth, Fernando, Maritza, and Janet, as well as her fourteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, who lovingly called her “Mamita”.
Her family was blessed by her nurturing nature, strength of spirit, guidance, and unconditional love. Full of love, laughter, and resilience, she touched the lives of all who knew her. We invite all who knew her to join us in remembering a truly remarkable woman who was loved deeply and will be missed.
The visitation for Aida will be held on Friday September 6, 2024 from 3-5PM and 7-9PM at Frederick Funeral Home 192-15 Northern Blvd., Flushing, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday September 7, 2024 from St. Andrew Avellino RC Church, 35-60 158th Street, Flushing, NY. Entombment to follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery 72-02 Astoria Blvd., East Elmhurst, NY.
