Anthony Cisek

Anthony Edward Cisek, age 78, of Bayside, NY, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2014, after spending a beautiful Valentine's Day with some of his children and the love of his life, his wife Mary Ann.

Anthony was born in Brooklyn, NY, to Josephine and Andrew Cisek on May 12, 1935. He attended Brooklyn Tech and served in the US Army. He married Mary Ann Albert on June 3, 1961.

With his brothers Joseph and Andrew, he owned and operated Brooklyn-Queens Electric Corp. in Greenpoint, NY, as an electrical contractor, and later as a business entrepreneur.

He was an avid lover of basketball, softball, baseball, tennis, Scrabble, blackjack, poker, and Texas Hold 'Em.

Anthony is predeceased by his siblings Wanda and Joseph.

In addition to his loving wife Mary Ann, he is survived by his children Diana, Deb, Anthony, Tri, Sue, Ed, and Linda; his siblings Ted, Jeanette, Carol and Andrew; and 14 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 & 7-9PM on Tuesday February 18, 2014 at Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Blvd., Flushing, NY 11358.

A memorial service will be held at 9:45am on Wednesday February 19, 2014 at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, 34-24 203rd Street • Bayside, NY 11361.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
