Catherine Ann Granger

A graduate of St. Francis Preparatory High School and St. John’s University, Cathy worked on Wall Street for the majority of her career, retiring in 2020 as a Vice President from Deutsche Bank after more than 27 years. She built an extensive social network over the years, known for her love of gathering with friends who she considered an extension of her family, and for her affection toward animals, most especially her dogs Shannon (dec.) and Chloe.

Cathy was a caring wife, devoted daughter, supportive sister and a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews. A lifelong Mets fan and an avid supporter of Broadway theater, she could often be found at one of the many establishments throughout Douglaston and Bayside where she fostered many close friendships. Cathy could always be counted on for getting together and having fun, her Irish eyes eternally smiling.

Cathy is survived by her husband of over 26 years, Robert Rowe, her brothers Kevin (Kristine), James (Miosottis), her brother-in-law William Rowe (Suzanne), her nieces and nephews and cousins, along with her many loving friends.

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Margaret.

A Committal Service will be held on Wednesday April 5, 2023 at 10am, at Mount St. Mary's Cemetery,172-00 Booth Memorial Avenue Flushing, NY 11358.
