Dino devoted his professional life to the built environment, earning a Master of Architecture from Parsons school of Design. He worked for prestigious firms such as KPF and Thom Filicia Inc. before founding Kalesis Design Studio, where he focused on creating beautiful, efficient homes that blended seamlessly with the lush natural surroundings of the Catskills.
Outside of work, Dino found joy in hosting backyard cookouts for any occasion, spending afternoons at the beach, and savoring a strong Greek frappé. He loved life’s simple pleasures and the vibrant energy of New York City, which he always called home.
Dino was a deeply devoted family man. He cherished his wife, Victoria, and their son, William, with whom he shared a special bond. Watching William grow and supporting his dreams were some of his greatest joys.
He is survived by his loving wife, Victoria, his son, William; his mother, Peggy; his father Demetrios; and his sister, Janine and countless loved ones.
A visitation to honor and celebrate Dino’s life will be held on Tuesday March 25th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Quinn-Fogarty/Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Blvd Flushing, NY 11358. A service will take place March 26th at 10:45 AM at St. Anastasia's Roman Catholic Church in Douglaston. A graveside service will follow at Mt St Mary's Cemetery.
Dino will be deeply missed but always fondly remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Willam Kalesis Family Trust via @WKFamilyTrust through Venmo.
