Sweet Isabel you were like my big Cousin as I was Growing up in Bayside  you always looked out for me along With my Cousin Karen. You were Always there to talk to as well and I loved you for that. Rest in peace Sweet Angel🤍🩷

I lost my dear mentor, my friend, and my big sister.

I met Isabel as a young nurse, and we connected instantly. She wore her heart on her sleeve, just as I do. Isabel led with grace, empathy, and quiet strength. She was incredibly smart, and anyone who knew her knew how deeply she loved her family—especially how she doted on her nieces.

Isabel gave me opportunities and helped pave the path for my career—something I will be forever grateful for. She fought for the people she believed in and stood up for those around her. She also taught me how to lead without micromanaging—to trust, to empower, and to bring out the best in others.

She always reminded me to focus on my children. As a young single mom, she understood when I needed to be off because my son was sick, or when I had to care for my uncle. That was who she was—compassionate, understanding, and selfless.

She was there for my wedding. She always wanted to see pictures of my girls and my son, and it brought her so much joy. No matter how much time passed, we could always pick up right where we left off—sharing our lives, our struggles, our joys. She was my confidant, my shoulder, my safe place.

We shared a very special bond—one I will hold in my heart forever.

Learning of my dear Is’s passing today has been devastating. She was a fighter, and I truly believed she could overcome anything.

You are with the angels now, Is, and I know in my heart I have another angel watching over me.

My deepest condolences to her mother, Dr. Parikh, and her entire family. We have lost someone truly special here on earth, and heaven has gained an angel.
