James Leo Ray took off for his final flight into the great beyond on February 17, 2022, where he will rendezvous with his parents, Catherine and Leo, and his brother, John. Sending him off are his niece, grandniece, nephew-in-law, sister-in-law, cousins, and friends. Pilot, skier, teacher, tinkerer, storyteller — we wish you blue skies and tailwinds.
A visitation for James will be held Monday, February 21, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358. Funeral mass Tuesday, February 22, 2022 10:15 AM at St Lukes Church, 16-34 Clintonville Street, Whitestone, NY 11357. Committal service to follow at St Charles Cemetery, 2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735.
