Born in Loughglynn, County Roscommon, Ireland on December 11th 1922 she was the daughter of Anne and John Conroy.
On September 17th 1949 in New York Jean married James Moran who survives at home. She was the beloved mother of James Moran of Westchester, John Moran (wife Joyce) of Granite Springs and Anne (husband Joseph Tierney) of Mineola; cherished grandmother of Kevin Moran, Patricia Moran and Liam McCabe- Moran; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers and sisters: Annie, Mary, Dominic, Eileen, Kathleen, Bridget and John.
