Joseph T. Abinanti, 89 of Jackson Heights, New York passed away Friday, February 20, 2015. He was born in New York on March 17, 1925. He was married to Irene Abinanti on July 20, 1950. He worked for the U.S. Post Office for 42 years. He enjoyed golfing, gardening and his family. He was survived by his beloved wife, Irene Abinanti; son, Joseph Abinanti of Bayside, NY; daughter, Nancy (John) Dorsey of Rockford, IL. Grandchildren; Joseph Abinanti of NY, Michael Abinanti of NY! Meaghan (Matt) Rose of Rockford, IL and Michael (Cristina) Dorsey of Naperville, IL. Siblings; Elizabeth Lamanna, and Albert (Marie) Abinanti. Predeceased by granddaughter, Melissa Dorsey; sister, Angie Torborsky.
