Joseph Pedri

Born in Revo, Italy, Joseph came to the United States in pursuit of a better life and built a legacy rooted in hard work, dedication, and love for his family. He was the beloved husband of Virginia, with whom he shared a lifetime of partnership and devotion. A loving father to Joseph (Patricia) Pedri, David (Jean) Pedri, and the late Michael Pedri, Joseph took great pride in raising a close-knit, caring family. He was a cherished nonno to Joseph, Alex, Katrina, Shannon, and Jane. Dear brother of surviving sister Carmen Fedrigoni (Bruno) of Canada and the late Giovanni Pedri, Catina Rigatti, Lenota Martini, Celestino Pedri, Candido Pedri, Maria Corra and cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Joseph was a true craftsman whose passion for building and renovating homes reflected his strong work ethic and eye for detail. He found great joy in working with his hands and was always ready to lend his skills to help those around him. Beyond his work, Joseph enjoyed the traditions of his Italian heritage—especially making wine and grappa, which he lovingly shared with family and friends.

He will be remembered as a devoted family man, a skilled builder, and a kind, steady presence whose warmth and generosity touched all who knew him.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358.

The family will be gathering at the funeral home at 8:30am and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at 9:45 AM at St. Mel's Roman Catholic Church, 26-15 154th St, New York, NY 11354. Entombment will follow at St. John's Cemetery, 80-01 Metropolitan Avenue, New York, NY 11379.

Joseph’s spirit and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
