Loretta McArdle

Loretta went to St. Kevins Grammar School and Dominican Commercial High school. She continued her education at John Jay College and graduated Suma Cum Laude with a degree in criminal justice

She was a devoted executive assistant to many high-profile corporations throughout her career.

She was an avid METS fan and Bruce Springsteen groupie. Loretta traveled through Europe, Ireland and enjoyed visiting the National Parks. She was lucky enough to attend the Olympics held in Atlanta. She was an avid mystery reader from Nancy Drew to Sue Grafton.

She also enjoyed cooking and making cocktails, chocolate martinis her specialty! Her cheesecake was hard to beat.

‍She is survived by her siblings, Kevin McArdle, Philip McArdle , Patricia McArdle Jeanne and Bill Kornish; Timothy McArdle, Michael McArdle and Maureen McArdle, Chuck McGorry; nieces Colleen Kornish, Netty McArdle and Pearl McArdle.‍ And first cousins in the Comerford and McArdle families.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00pm on Tuesday May 6, 2025 at Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Blvd., Flushing, NY 11358. Interment of ashes on Wednesday May 7, 2025 10:30am at Mt St Mary’s Cemetery,172-00 Booth Memorial Avenue, Flushing NY.
