Mary Shult

Mary Shult was born on November 25, 1943, in Greenport, New York, to Frank Dacci and Gladys Turney. She graduated from Jamaica High School and pursued a career as an executive secretary for various financial institutions and later in life as a public school aide.

On August 4, 1969, Mary married Edward Shult in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and together they raised two children: Kevin and Lori. She was a loving mother, devoted spouse, and cherished friend to many.

Mary was known for her love of baking, making hundreds of cakes, pies, and cookies every year for family and friends. She was actively involved in the Democratic Club of Queens throughout her lifetime.

Mary is survived by her husband, Ed Shult; her children, Kevin and Lori; her daughter-in-law, Jacinda; and her two grandchildren, Colin and Ava.

In remembrance, a viewing for Mary will be held on Wednesday, June 26, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, funeral service from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Frederick Funeral Home 192-15 Northern Boulevard Flushing, New York 11358, where we will honor Mary’s enduring impact on our community and our hearts.

A graveside service will occur Thursday, June 27, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Pinelawn Memorial Park , 2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735.
