Sister M. Joseph Celine, O. Carm. passed away peacefully on March 12, 2014. Proud World War II Veteran. Beloved daughter of the late William Walsh and Anna (nee) Reddick. Dearest sister to the O. Carm Sisters. Loving sister of Janet Lehman, Trudy Sullivan and the late Marion Noble. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Sr. M. Joseph Celine, O. Carm. was born October 17, 1922 in South Boston, Massachusetts, Entrance August 21, 1949, First Profession March 27, 1951, Final Profession December 8, 1955, Entered into Eternal Rest March 12, 2014.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, New York 11358. The O. Carmelite Sisters will be welcoming visitors at Ozanam Hall 42-41 201st Street, Bayside, New York on Friday, March 21, 2014 from 2-7pm. There will be an evening prayer service at 7pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, March 22 , 2014 at 10am at Ozanam Hall. Interment Queen of Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Germantown, New York.
