Nontas Manikakis

With deep sorrow and love, we announce the passing of Nontas Manikakis, a kind, warm, and family-oriented man whose life was defined by devotion to those he loved.

Nontas was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was the heart of his family—always present, always caring, and always putting others before himself. His warmth, generosity, and quiet strength touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Stella Manikakis; his cherished children, Bill and Filiz Manikakis, and Mike and Polly Manikakis; and his four beautiful grandchildren, Alexander, Nicoletta, Stelio, and Alexandra, whom he loved and cared for deeply.

Nontas will be remembered for his kindness, his love of family, and the joy he found in being surrounded by those closest to him. He leaves behind a legacy of love that will live on through generations.

He will be deeply missed and forever held in our hearts.

Visitation will be held at Frederick Funeral Home, located at 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358, on December 17, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A religious ceremony will take place at St. Demetrios' Greek Orthodox Church, 84-35 152nd St, Jamaica, NY 11432, on December 18, 2025, at 9:30 am

Burial will follow at Cypress Hills Cemetery, 833 Jamaica Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11208.
