Nora A. Burke

Nora A. Burke passed away peacefully on October 24, 2022. Born June 5, 1935 in Derrymore, Ballyhaunis, County Mayo, Ireland. Beloved wife of the late Henry Burke. Loving mother of Patricia, James and Brian. Dear Mother in Law of John and Joanne. Cherished grandmother of Siobhan, Erin, Amanda, Brittany and Brendan.Dear sister of Pete and Walter.

Nora was very proud of her Irish Heritage. For those who knew her, " Up the field Mayo" was her favorite quote. Those who were close to her knew how much she loved her family and children. Now that she is home with her beloved husband and best friend Harry, who were together for over 60 years, are now reunited in heaven.

Visiting will be held at Frederick Funeral Home 192-15 Northern Blvd Flushing, NY on Wednesday November 2, 2022 from 3-5 and 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday November 3 at 10:30am from St Fidelis RC Church 123-06 14th Avenue, College Point, NY. Interment to follow at St Charles Cemetery , Farmingdale, NY
