Thinking about you on this anniversary.  Remembering great times playing football, softball and even golf.  You are always in our thoughts.  Michael and Susanne

Randy and I shared a close relationship as first cousins.  We enjoyed our times together beginning in our early years, since our families lived near each other in our Queens neighborhood.  During the summer we would play stickball in our backyard driveway and when it got real dark all the neighborhood kids would play Ring-a-levio and other outdoor games.  Randy was a compassionate sports fan. In particular he loved baseball and the Dodgers.  I  was a Yankees fan but that did not effect our relationship in the least.   We were competitors on the softball field, teammates in a touch football league and I even managed to get Randy out on the golf course several times.  As we both got older and preoccupied with our own family we were out of touch with each other.  Fortunately,  we reconnected during the past few years and enjoyed getting together or talking on he phone.  Several years ago my wife Susanne and I invited Randy, Debbie and their entire family along with members of my family to our house for a BBQ.  It turned out to be a great reunion.  We will sorely miss Randy and remember him for being a gentle "Big Man" with a kind heart and a warm smile.    Michael and Susanne Hiller.

My dear cousin Randy and I spoke quite often. We would always veer off to memories of the neighborhood, friends, and family growing up. We’d almost always laugh about those times. As cousins, 3 families grew up only 2 blocks from one another.  

Randy was truly one of those individuals who had a heart of gold.  He talked about his wife Debbie with even greater love as the years went by and was relentlessly driven to keep her as happy as he could.   Despite as in every family having its differences, whatever drove him was done out of love and wanting to protect those he loved.  Randy deeply loved their daughter Chrissy and her family and would cherish the times their grandkids slept over. I could hear the joy and pride in his voice whenever they did.

I will miss you, dear Randy, the brother I never had from our moms who were very close sisters.   I will always love and remember you as you will forever be in my heart.   May you now rest peacefully.
