Robert Georges Grosjean

Robert Georges Grosjean, formerly of Bayside and Jackson Heights, Queens and most recently a Melbourne, Florida resident passed away on February 15, 2017 at the age of 91. Robert was a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandfather and uncle with family being the most important thing in his life.

He was born in Oran, Algeria before coming to this country in 1949.

Robert is survived by his devoted wife of 65 years Claude Marcelle, his loving children; Alain and his wife Patricia, Claude Daniel and his wife Jill, his grandchild Nicole and sister Juliette Davis.

He worked as a Planning and Scheduling Engineer for many major architect-engineering firms throughout his career before retiring from the NYC Transit Authority. His career also took him to the country of Chile where he spent many wonderful years with his family there. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be on Monday February 20, 2017 from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at the Frederick Funeral Home 192-15 Northern Blvd.,Flushing, NY.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday February 21, 2017 at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Jackson Heights, NY at 10:30AM. Interment will immediately follow at Calvary Cemetery, Woodside, NY.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center are suggested.
