
Born in New York City on June 20, 1930, to Thomas and Annie (Morris).
He was a Korean War Veteran, having proudly served as a member of the U.S. Army.
While stationed in Germany, he met and married the love of his life, Gertrud (Hermann).
Graduate of St. John's School of Business.
Retired pharmaceutical sales representative of Glaxo-Smithkline.
Beloved husband of Gertrud with whom he shared 57 years of marriage. Devoted father
of Margaret (Dave), Ursula (Don), Thomas (Mariko), Paul, Barbara (Greg) and Gregory (Michelle).
Proud grandfather of Matthew, Ursula, Andrea, Paul, Douglas, Jeremy, Elizabeth, Gretchen,
Katarina, Timothy, Lauren, Jacqueline, Gwendolyn, Gregory, Grace, Louisa, and Kyle.
Great grandfather of Liam. Dear brother of John (identical twin), Patrick, and the late Peggy.
Some of the things Tom loved and that we learned to love through him are: Piano playing, bridge games,
Jones Beach, political wit, "Big Band" music, German Waltzes, old movies, traveling in Europe with Gertrud - especially the trips to Ireland, Germany and Italy, and the importance of a good education.
His was a life well lived, and he will never be forgotten by those whose lives he touched.
