

Andrew ‘Andy’ Dorman was a loving father, grandfather and husband who was known for his kindness, warmth, big heart, charm and great sense of humor. He loved his work and colleagues as a syndicate manager on Wall Street. Born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Long Beach, New York, he was the son of Henry Dorman and Bertha Goldberg-Dorman and the younger brother of Betty-Su and Robin. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and attended Hofstra University. Andy had two children, Harris and Jennifer, with his first wife, Suzanne. He was the devoted Opa of his granddaughter Lily, through his second wife Golde, to whom he was married to for 32 years and who predeceased him. He played the guitar and the cornet. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his son Harris, daughter Jennifer, grandchildren Gabriel, Lily and Yesenia, his nephew Steven and niece Ellen, and his cousins Michael, Ralph and Stephanie.
A funeral service will be held at Schwartz Brothers-Jeffer Memorial Chapels, located at 114-03 Queens Blvd, Forest Hills, NY 11375, on January 4, 2026, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.
Following the funeral service, a committal service will take place at Cedar Park and Beth El Cemeteries, located at 735 Forest Ave, Paramus, NJ 07652, on January 4, 2026, from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm.
