I was one of his students in 1977.  He had the amazing gift of making math fun.  I looked forward to his class every day.  I can still hear him joyfully admonishing our class as "Lowest of the Low!"   He still brings a smile to my face.  Rest in Peace.

Mr. Weinstein changed my life; I had him for trig, calc, adv algebra, and analytic geometry.  I went on to become an engineer; all due to him.  I remember one of his famous lines : When in doubt, factor out, when in doot, substitute.  My condolences to the family, and, Mr. Weinstein , rest in peace, and  thank you.

I am sorry for your loss, just read about thru Facebook. I a student of Mr Weinstein for pre college calculus. I love being one of his creatures.I was Susan Schain class of 1969. He was my favorite teacher! Him and Mr Marenelli. I live in Stamford Ct now

May you meditate of the promise of the God of Abraham to bring him back " To be enlighten with the light of the living". May this promise bring the family and relatives comfort, hope and peace. Please accept my deepest condolences.  Mr. Weinstein was a devoted and brilliant teacher who made an enormous difference in the lives of countless students.  I have thought of him over the years and can picture at the blackboard working his "magic."

I was a student of Mr.Weinstein...I was certainly not one of his best students but I do remember him as a very funny teacher..He called us his creatures...Sorry to hear of his passing...Rita Rosenthal Stichinsky  I had him in 1963 for Trig.

To the family of Arthur Weinstein, Mr. Weinstein shared hos good humor and intelligence as a math teacher for many year. He taught me high school math and made it fun and interesting. During a class activity we found we shared a birthday and connected the class in a way that most teachers did not think of doing 40 years ago. I have thought of him often over the years and a smile would always come to my face, recalling him saying "Caroleee!" as I walked into the classroom.  Carol Bawer, Newtown class of 77
