Bernard Heitner died at the ago of 92 shortly after a devastating stroke. He lived a full and vigorous life until that event, playing tennis, participating in family events and attending weekly brunches in Forest Hills (subsequently napping on the couch). He was a Triple-A pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies, a veteran of the Korean War, the proud father of Judi & Lisa, father in law to Michael & Curtis and grandfather (“Papa Bernie”) to Jason, Adam, Alison & William
