

Debra Linda Kaiserman (née Lehrer), born October 10, 1954, in New York, New York, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2026. She grew up on Manhattan’s Lower East Side and later moved to Queens, where she spent much of her life.
Debra was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who built her life around caring for her family and celebrating their accomplishments. She was married to her beloved husband, Jeffrey Kaiserman, who predeceased her in 2019. Together they created a home filled with love, laughter, and strong family bonds.
Debra is survived by her sons, Ryan Kaiserman and his wife Meghan, and Adam Kaiserman and his wife Laura. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Nathan and Emily Kaiserman, who brought her immense joy. Nothing made her happier than seeing her children and grandchildren succeed, and she took great pride in everything they accomplished.
She is also survived by her sister, Roslyn Decruz, and her nephews, Evan Decruz and Michael Decruz. She was predeceased by her sister, Elaine Tropeano.
A dedicated homemaker, Debra was known for her intelligence, sharp sense of humor, and the warmth she brought to those around her. She enjoyed spending time playing online card and word games on Pogo, where she loved the challenge and friendly competition. Debra also enjoyed following politics and current events and took an active interest in what was happening in the world around her.
Debra was also an enthusiastic football fan who loved following both the New York Jets and the New York Giants, cheering passionately for her teams each season.
She especially loved vacationing in the Catskills, where she cherished time away with family and the simple joy of being together.
Debra will be remembered for her wit, her kindness, and the deep love she had for her family. Her greatest happiness came from the accomplishments and happiness of her children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.
A Graveside Service will be held at Cedar Park Cemetery, 735 Forest Ave, Paramus, NJ 07652, on March 11, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm.
