Elaine Bard

She was born on July 21, 1932, in Bronx, NY to Samuel and Mae (Horwitz) Ciporin.

Elaine was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, sister and cherished friend. She graduated from Bronx High School of Science, being in the second female class to graduate from this prestigious school in 1950.

Elaine was known for her warmth, sense of humor and her passion for games, ice skating and travel. She loved spending time with family and friends. She found her greatest joy in her family and created a home filled with love and laughter. Her life was a testament to her faith, kindness and resilience.

She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Norman Bard and her two sons, Alan (Trish Sitto) Bard and Howard (Terri Zetoony) Bard and two granddaughters, Nicole Trexler and Natalie Brooks. She was preceded in death by her parents Samuel and Mae Ciporin, and her loving brother Leon Ciporin.

A graveside service will be held at Cedar Park and Beth El Cemeteries, located at 735 Forest Ave, Paramus, NJ, 07652. The service is scheduled for October 21, 2025, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. Please meet at the Cedar Park office at 10:15.
