Maureen Rose

Maureen June Rose passed away on November 5, 2023. She was 90 years old. Maureen was an intelligent, witty, and successful woman. She grew up in New Jersey with her loving parents, Addie and Maurice. Following her graduation from Cornell University, she rose to management positions in several well-known publishing houses in New York City. Maureen was a loyal friend, maintaining relationships that spanned her entire life. She married Julian “Julie” Weber in 1979. They lived in New York City and eventually retired to Lauderdale Lakes, Florida. Maureen adored Julie and cared for him until his death in 1998. She kept busy volunteering in her local library and hospital, raising money for the Jewish community, managing her co-op association, socializing, and making people laugh. Maureen was a loving stepmother to Mark and his wife Janet, and Sharon and her husband David; grandmother to Dan and his wife Seema, Seth and his wife Maggie, Evan and his dog Jasper, and Jarrett and Ty; and great grandmother (GG) to Benjamin, Laila, Nathan, and Nicholas. She will be dearly missed.

A graveside service for Maureen will be held Wednesday, November 8, 2023 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at King Solomon Memorial Park, 550 Dwasline Rd, Clifton, NJ 07012.
