She will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Hugh “Skip” Baum to whom she was married for nearly 60 years; her son, David Baum, and his wife, Tesa; and her cherished granddaughters, Avery and Harley. She also leaves behind her nieces Julie, Anne, and Joanna, and her nephews Henry, Andrew, Bruce, Scott, and Eric.
Midge was predeceased by her cherished immediate family-her sister, Linda; her father, George; and her mother, Helen.
She had a gift for finding joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved tending her garden, reading biographies, and sharing her memorable, contagious laugh with those around her. Most of all, she cherished time spent with her extended family, whose company brought her great happiness.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The National MS Society.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
A graveside service will be held at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, located at 78-00 Myrtle Ave, New York, NY, 11385, on Sunday, August 17, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
