You were my soul mate, husband, and best friend.  I am beyond blessed that you were in my life.  I wish we could have grown old together, with more grey hair and wrinkles.  I’m glad we had the chance to say everything we needed to say to each other before you left.  

The amount of love that filled the air at your Celebration of Life ceremony was incredible.   The impact you made on everyone you met was indelible.  I married a great man.  

I know you’re enjoying a pint with your dad, your loved ones, and even Kiefy.  You taught me that life is precious and I hope to do right by you and to make you proud.  I love you. I miss you. Until we meet again.

I have known Nick since he was born as our parents (and grandparents!) were best friends. Nick grew up from an adorable little boy to a handsome, smart, fun, kind and generous man. We always enjoyed catching up with him and his wife, Bridget, at the Oak Chalet on Mother’s Day. Nick will be sorely missed. Our deepest sympathy to Bridget, his mom, Barbara, brother, Chris, and all of his family and friends.

Dear Nick. We knew each other for more than 40 years and shared so many happy memories, both in the UK and during my visits to NYC. You were a great friend who always prioritised the important things in life. It was an honour to be by your side in the hospital with Bridget before you died. Whilst you’d lost your physical strength, the love and kindness that defined you as a man burned as strong then as it did in the past. Take care my friend 💙

Nick and Bridget took me to see the 9/11 memorial. An incredibly moving experience, even more so when he pointed out the name of a friend who had perished. We walked for miles that day, and drank proper beer, not Old E!

Taken in 1986. We all drove from Merrick to DC in the back of John and Barbara’s station wagon. It was brilliant fun - with the four of us boys laying out in the boot (or Trunk!) 😃

My earliest memories of Nick were forged over Star Wars figures in Caversham near Reading, UK. The Entenza’s were living in Caversham on the same road as we lived. My brother Paul (pictured right) became friends with Chris, and I became friends with Nick. We were both born in January 1979, just a few days apart, and both loved Star Wars. The Entenza’s returned to Merrick in the mid 80s and this picture was taken when we visited them back in 86 - nearly 40 years ago.

My goodness it was cold! We wandered the streets of Manhattan and drank coffee and beer. Happy days.

The start of a great weekend visiting Nick and Bridget back in 2019. I took the train north from Baltimore and met Nick at Penn Station. Beautiful memory.

Nick, I thank God for you. I foolishly thought if I don’t write something this may not be real. At least for a little while longer.  My brother from another mother, you are truly loved and missed. To know you is always know the other side of an argument and true value of a positive mental attitude. Your protective nature and huge heart might be what I miss most of all. I love you and am completely heartbroken by your loss.

Nick, we were always in different parts of the world, but I still don't know how to get along with not being able to reach out to my brother. To tell you what's happening, to tell you how your nephews are doing, or to listen to what great things are happening in your life.  It still seems like its not real that I'm writing this. Not a day will ever go by when we don't think about uncle Nick.  I'm glad you had the life you had and I'm glad for all of the times we had together. Love you brother.

Nick you came into the world six weeks early and after a rough start thrived. Even as a child you always loved having people around you, instantly connecting and learning about others. I know that continued as an adult. 
I remember your love of running and team sports, even as a 5 year old.  Football and La Crosse.  Then later as a fan of the Yankees and Dolphins. Above all you loved your family, friends and especially your wonderful Bridget. Know you are always in my heart my baby boy.     Mom

Dear Bridget & Entenza Family,

As only a 3-year neighbor to Nick, Bridget (& Kimchi) in Forest Hills, my sometimes-daily runs in were always met w/that warm smile that has been mentioned in other notes here along w/great conversation--mostly about sports.  Though we followed rival teams---Nick was always so upbeat and positive.  As I told Bridget---I'm glad to have met him!  A truly GREAT guy!  He is already missed around here....            We offer our condolences to Bridget and the Entenza Family.

Nick was our godson and will always stay in our hearts.  He was very special to us.  We have known Nick  since he was born and watched him grow up to be a fine and caring person.  

We will always remember Nick and our son, Brian, picking his parents and us up at the airport.  They both parked illegally and sauntered up to greet us without a care in the world, "Joe Cool" all the way.  As luck would have it, they didn't get towed or a ticket!

The  last time we saw Nick and Bridget was at our annual Mother's Day restaurant dinner.  It was a very happy occasion and Nick was at his usual social best.  We can't believe it was the last time we would see him.   He was loved and will be missed.

I had the please of working with Nick for many years at Mintz and I'm deeply saddened by his passing. He was soo kind. No matter how busy he was, Nick was always willing to lend a hand-always with a warm smile and positive attitude. He made the workplace better just by being in it. He will be greatly missed. My heartfelt condolences  to his family, friends and all who were lucky enough to know him.

I had the great pleasure of working with Nick for seven years. He was the kindest, funniest and patient guy I knew. When I was new to Billing, he took me under his wing and taught me so much.
My heart is broken at his passing.
I am sending love to his family and hope that it gives them comfort to know he was well loved by everyone.

I used to work with Nick back at Cravath. We both often worked late and Nick helped make the time go by as we would joke around complaining about the demands of the office, talking pop culture, martial arts and cracking jokes. I would frequently make requests to him knowing that he would give his all without complaint. 

I offer my deepest condolences to all of Nick's family and loved ones. His death came as a shock to me as he always seemed to be so full of life and vigor. He was a light during a dark time in my career and he will be missed.

I was lucky to work alongside Nick and even luckier to call him a friend. He was one of those rare people who brought warmth, kindness, and genuine care into every interaction. Whether we were talking football—especially his beloved Dolphins—or just catching up about life, Nick always made time for others and left you feeling better after every conversation. He’ll be deeply missed at work and beyond. Rest easy, Nick. Thank you for the laughs, the talks, and the memories.

Nick and I worked at Cravath together for many years. I’m so shocked and saddened to hear of his passing.  I will always remember his good humor and  easy going manner.  My deepest sympathies to his family and loved ones.

I worked with Nick at Mintz Levin for many years and we had a good relationship. We would talk about work, running yoga and so many other topics. I loved Nick.  He would remind me of my son, kind, thoughtful, and just a great guy. I am very sad that this happened to him. I am thinking i will see him at the office but realize he wont be there. Watching nick grow from a little guy to a handsome young man was a joy to me. He was a great friend to so many people. Coaching him as a growing athlete to working out at gym with him and my son was a highlight of my time with him. Nick treated everyone with kindness and was just an Al around great person. I will miss him very much as many of us will. Memories of nick will last forever. Love you nick.

I came to know Nick some years ago when he applied for a role at Mintz. During that time I was the manager responsible for the department he was applying for.

Nicks interview was our first introduction to each other.  Of course our conversation led to my hiring Nick. Although it was many years ago I remember that initial conversation with Nick fondly as if it was just yesterday. I have always invested myself in my staff, this provided pathways for Nick and I and Nick and his colleagues to collaborate and inspire each other to do great work together and for the company.  And all during this time, I remember Nick sharing so much positive things happening in his life.

Over the years I got to know Nick well. He was an extremely hard worker, would do anything anyone asked of him, and he was genuinely a super humbled man. About three years ago I left the firm for another, and since that time Nick and I stayed very much intouch with each other and frequently met for lunch in NYC when I came to the city for work. As recently as mid September when he was in the hospital we were communicating. 

I will miss you, friend, colleague but you are now a resident in my heart  💙 

To Nick's wife Bridget, his mom and to those who knew Nick and to all his colleagues, my prayers 🙏 and hope for you to find strength in each other during this painful time.

This picture was taken a little over 3 months ago before Nick had his battle with cancer. Nick and Bridget came to visit to meet my new kitten . It was a good day. I had no idea it would be the last time I’d get to see him. I couldn’t have asked for a better brother-in-law.  Nick, I know you will be watching over Bridget and the fur babies. I want you to know that I will always take care of my sister too.  Rest in peace my brother 💔💔🤍🙏🏻
