Ora Rosenberg was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was born in Israel, came to the United States at age 17 and decided this is where she wanted to build her future. She was introduced to her husband, Irving, in America through mutual family friends from Poland and Israel. Ora is survived by her sister Nechama, two children Jeffrey and Robin, two granddaughters Jaclyn and Jamie and great grandson Asher.
She was named Ora because she brought light to her family. Ora had an obsessive passion for cleaning and loved to cook and feed anyone who visited her home. She worked at Solomon Schechter School in Queens as a librarian before becoming a bookkeeper for several companies in the jewelry industry.
Ora was blessed with incredible will and stubborn determination, there was no stopping her once her mind was set. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, spoiling them endlessly and ensuring they had a good education, full bellies and endless love and support.
She will be deeply missed but never forgotten. We hope that she has found eternal peace with Irving and know that she will live on forever in our thoughts and memories.
A graveside service for Ora will be held Tuesday, February 18, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Cedar Park and Beth El Cemeteries, 735 Forest Ave, Paramus, NJ 07652.
