Ronald P. Rosenblatt

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dr. Ronald P. Rosenblatt, a beloved father, brother, uncle, husband and grandfather. Ronald passed away on July 31st, 2024, at the age of 71.

Ronald was born on February 4th, 1953, in the Bronx, NY, and lived in Queens, NY as well as Westchester and Manhattan.

Ronald was a wonderful and caring doctor who dedicated his career to helping others. He had a private medical practice, Health Watchers, as well as practiced at Jamaica Hospital and North Shore University Hospital. Later in his career, he worked as a consultant on the patient side of medical malpractice cases, always striving to find answers. His brilliance and insatiable desire to learn and study was always present.

Ronald loved watching science fiction movies, playing tennis, and traveling, especially to the Caribbean and Las Vegas. He enjoyed spending time with his family, including playing on the playground with his grandson. His warm, fun-loving nature, and unwavering support for those he cherished will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He leaves behind his two loving and devoted children, Mara Johnson (Michael), Adam Rosenblatt (Juli), his grandson David Johnson, his wife Kory Rosenblatt, his brother and sister in-law Steven & Betty Rosenblatt, and his nieces Sherry, Sheila, and Fallon Rosenblatt.

Ronald's memory will forever be cherished, and his spirit will continue to inspire us all.

Due to Ronald’s love of animals, donations can be made in his name to the ASPCA.

A memorial service for Ronald will be held Friday, August 2, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at Sinai Chapels, 114-03 Queens Blvd, Forest Hills, NY 11375. Following the memorial service will be a committal service from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at Wellwood Cemetery, 1400 Wellwood Ave, West Babylon, NY 11704.
