Seymour Giniger passed away peacefully in his home on January 24 at the age of 93. He was the husband of Cleonie White Giniger and devoted father to Evan Giniger (Marisa), Cheryl Oppenheim (David), Melissa Shore (Jared), and Alexandra Scotland (Bryan). He was the proud grandfather to Ciara, Blake, Benjamin, Jacob, Maya, Noah, Sloane, and Quinn. He was predeceased by his sister Marcia Widoff and his parents Rachel and Solomon. Seymour will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him dearly.
A funeral service will be held at Schwartz Brothers-Jeffer Memorial Chapels, located at 114-03 Queens Blvd, Forest Hills, NY, 11375, United States. The service is scheduled for January 29, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
Following the funeral service, a committal service will take place at Montefiore Cemetery, located at 121-83 Springfield Blvd, New York, NY, 11413, United States. This service will occur on January 29, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 2:45 pm.
