Joy G. Nixon of Conely GA passed away at the age of 72 of April 16, 2011. She was born on November 19, 1938 in Smithfield GA. She was a member of the friendship Baptist church in Atlanta GA. She is survived by her husband Asa “Bucky” Nixon. She has 4 children. Son Chris Hash, Daughter Phyllis Whitmarsh and husband, Tammy Parsons and husband, and her youngest daughter Mickey Harper and husband: four grand kids Sharee Kubik and husband Seth Massely, Shan Massely, and Byron Whitmarsh. Five great grand kids: Aubry Kubik , Lauren Kubik, Destinie Mays, Matthew Kubik, Gabriel Kubik: 1-sister Mary Jones and three brothers Terry Wynn, Johnnie Gosa and Johnny Wynn. Visitation will be held at Parkway Garden Chapel on Monday, April 18, 2011 at 5:00 P. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at the Parkway Garden Chapel, 1000 Forest Parkway, Forest Park GA 30297, at 2:00 pm. interment will follow at Camp Memorial Park in Fayetteville GA.
