Stanley Buck "Buck" Johnson

Stanley “Buck” Johnson, 54, of Griffin, GA passed away January 23, 2013. Buck was born in Pike County, GA to the late John and Nellie Ruth Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a lifelong resident of Griffin, GA. He worked with the Salvation Army's Boys and Girls club where he touched the lives of many young people. The Spalding Gas Company was another place that he shared his many talents. Three brothers, Willie Johnson, Eddie Johnson, Arthur Johnson and one sister, Opal Nell Redding, preceded him in death.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his son, Stanley M. Johnson of Griffin, GA; daughters Kimberly Sullivan of Griffin, GA; Tiffany Johnson, Devon Culpepper, and Takisha Culpepper all of Newnan, GA; grandchildren Ceiara, Meghan, Anayiah, Ashley, A.J., Kivon, Brandon, Tomaya; brothers Albert(Shirley) Johnson, Keith(Collette) Johnson, Anthony(Dionn) Alexander; sisters, Jeanette(J.W.) Lewis , Geraldine Glanton, Madeline Everhart, Vickie Jester, Karen(Milton) Blackmon; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous extended family. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Monday, January 28, 2013 at Breakthrough Church International, 2921 N. Expressway, Griffin, GA 30223 where the body will lie in state prior to the service. Interment will follow at Free Liberty Cemetery, 1113 Williamson RD, Williamson, GA 30292.
