Our Sincere Condolences to Beth, Robyn, Jessica, Michael and their families. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all in this difficult time. He will be sadly missed by all of us and others who knew Bill!! He is and was a great man! Always helping others for whatever they needed him for. We will definitely miss seeing him every day, whether going to work in his workshop, cutting the grass, or chatting with him. We certainly have many good memories of Bill! It was with great sadness that we heard the news of Bill’s passing.
We met Bill on several occasions when we visited Canada and stayed with him and Beth. We enjoyed spending time with such a warm human being who always made us feel so welcome, he certainly gave John “farm envy”.
It was on one of our visits that Bill joined us on a trip on Maid of the Mist. It was his first experience of travelling on it despite having lived in the Niagra region for many years.

Sad to hear of Nelson's passing, he will be missed tremendously by all who knew him. He was a character with an admirable knowledge of vehicles that he generously shared.

My sincere condolences to Beth and Family. I was shocked upon hearing the news of Nelsons passing. I remember many  of Nelson and my brother, Jim's, escapades starting in grade school, throughout their teenage years and into adult life. Many memorable hours building Hotrods in Nelsons shop, car shows and cruise nights. He was always there to provide help, opinions and advice. June 13th is already marked on my calendar. Rest in peace, my friend.

I was shocked to hear of Bill's sudden passing. I worked with Bill for most of the 30 years that we both worked there. For people who don't know, all of  us at GM knew of him as Bill. I didn't know that he was also known as Nelson until our friendship grew beyond being co workers at GM. Part of the reason that our friendship grew beyond the walls of GM, was because of our mutual interest in cars and trucks. It was then that I met all of his friends that he had grown up with in Fort Erie as well as the Port Colborne area. It was also at that time that I found out that they knew him as Nelson. I enjoyed our pizza nights on Friday evenings, but missed almost all of the Sunday morning breakfasts, because as they all  knew I was not, and am not an early riser as they are.. Our get togethers definitely won't be the same without him, Sadly I will miss the service at the funeral home because of a previously planned vacation. BUT I'll definitely be involved in his celebration of life in my Corvette. My heart aches for you Beth, and your family. Rest in peace Bill/Nelson
