Barbara Ann Gustafson

She was born on August 24, 1935 in Fort Frances, ON to Lionel and Alfreda Nadon. She was united in marriage to the love of her life Jim Gustafson on July 5, 1958 and they had 52 wonderful years together. She was an active member of the CWL, LaVerendrye Hospital Auxiliary as well volunteering with many other committees and playing cards with her Bridge Club. She loved the outdoors, especially her time at the cabin. Her biggest joy was time spent with her grandchildren.

Barb was predeceased by her husband Jim; sons Curtis and Bradley Gustafson and sister Susan DeGagne; sisters-in-laws Jackie Gustafson and Gloria Loney

She leaves behind her children Craig Gustafson (Suzanne), Kim Wilson (Les), Kristine McCaig (Mark) and Jennifer Cabral (Antero); grandchildren Kurtis (Jessica) and Blake Gustafson, Samantha and AJ Wlison, Katie (Frankie) and Billy McCaig, James and Jacob McKee, Micah, Brittanie and Brooke Cabral; brothers-in-law Rudy (Joan) Gustafson, Raymond Gustafson, Ray DeGagne (Marion) and Larry Loney; sisters-in-law Audrey (Clarence) LeForte and Janice (Bob) Munn; cousin Ed (RoseMarie) Haglund as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Fort Frances with Father Victor DeGagne officiating.

The pallbearers will be Barb’s grandchildren Kurtis, Blake, Samantha, Albert, Kathie, Billy, James and Jacob.
