Bette Sue Kenny

Bette Sue was born on August 15, 1947 in Fort Frances to Everett and Margaret Doman. She lived in Fort Frances all of her life. She married the love of her life, Tom Kenny on October 24, 1970. Together they started their family, raising two boys who were the light of her life. She worked for Larry Phillips as a legal secretary for 24 years retiring in 2011. Bette Sue loved to visit, spend time with her friends, and enjoyed entertaining and going for lunch dates with old friends. She adored her grandchildren and loved getting the family together for any occasion. During the quiet times she enjoyed doing puzzles, emailing distant friends and family, and reading books. She and Tom took an annual trip to Ixtapa, Mexico and it was time she looked forward to, and cherished.

She leaves behind her husband Tom; son Tom and spouse Deb and their daughters Kylee and Marissa; son Todd and wife Shannon and their children Brett and Abbie; brothers John and Susan Doman, Jeff and Donna Doman; sisters Sharon and Charlie Moore and Karen and Norbert Kuehn as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Bette Sue was predeceased by her parents Everett and Margaret and Tom’s parents Tom and Margaret Kenny.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 9, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances, ON with Pastor Jane Trivers officiating.

The honourary pallbearers will be Bette Sue’s grandchildren Brett, Abbie, Marissa, and Kylee.
