Denise Buckshot

She was born on November 23, 1965 in Emo, Ontario

Loving mother of Katie Plante (Dylan); sister of Cheryl (Norm) and Jan (Cam) as well as aunt to many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind numerous friends whose lives she touched.

Denise enjoyed surrounding herself in the company of her loved ones as often as she could. We will all miss her sense of humour and the way her laughter would fill a room. She cared so deeply for everyone she met and was always one to lend a helping hand.

She was predeceased by her partner Tom Pollard; parents James Buckshot Sr and Kathleen Buckshot; brothers LeeRoy Adams, James Jr. and Wesley.

The family wishes to send a special thanks to Dr. Watson from TBRHSC, Dr. Jenks, and the nurses and staff at LVGH and the dialysis unit for their great kidness, care and support.

Visitation will be held at Green Funeral Home on Friday February 27, 2015 from 7 until 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday February 28, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Green Funeral Home with Reverend Diane Clifford officiating.

Pallbearers will be Jim Plante, Dylan Pattison, Ryan Buckshot and Richard Morrison.

Honourary pallbearers will be her family and friends.

In lieu of flowers in memoriam donations may be made to the Dialysis Unit at LaVerendrye General Hospital or Friends of Animals in Fort Frances.
