Dennis Stewart

Dennis was born in Emo, ON to Jessie Judson and Al Stewart. At the age of 19, he married the love of his life Dorothy Loveday. In 1965, they moved to Atikokan, ON where they raised their 3 sons and daughter.

In his early years, Dennis achieved his pilots license, and shortly after purchased his own plane. Dennis then joined the Atikokan Township Police, where he served over 9 years on the force. He then found his true passion as a logger.

Dennis was a kind and devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend. He will be deeply missed by his brother Stan (Pat), sons, Brian (Ruth), Calvin (Mary Ann), Chad (Cindy), daughter Treana (Ali), 17 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.

In keeping with Dennis’ wishes, no visitation or service was held. Following cremation, his ashes will be buried in a special spot in the woods that he had already picked out as a place to spend eternity.
