Obituario de Margaret Wright
Margaret Wright, 75, passed away Saturday evening November 17, 2018 at the Atikokan General Hospital in Atikokan, Ontario.

Margaret, born as Kathleen M. O'Beirn, was born on November 27, 1942 in Sudbury, Ontario to John, also known as Pat, and Elva (Gilbert) O'Beirn.

She was raised in various towns throughout Ontario, the family eventually settled in Atikokan where her father, John, worked as a school teacher at Mark Street School.

Margaret met her husband, Edward, her teenage sweetheart back in 1958 in Atikokan at the age sixteen. they got married on June 18, 1966, and remained so until her husband's passing on April 19th, 2012.

She graduated Atikokan High School in the class of '62, going on to attend Saint Joseph Nursing School in Thunder Bay, Ontario. She completed her nurse's training in Hamilton, Ontario, becoming a registered nurse on December 22, 1965. She began working at Atikokan General Hospital in 1966, where she worked until retiring in 2012. During her long career at the hospital, she continued her education, successfully completing the Nursing Administration Program in 1983. Margaret was always known to be very dedicated to her work, well loved, and respected by her patients, co-workers and doctors.

In 1984, in helping her husband follow his dream of owning a tourist camp, together they purchased and moved to McCauley Lake resort where she resided until her passing.

She leaves behind sisters, Rose Weech and Sharon Dobko; daughters Tiffany (Thomas) Melsh of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Valerie (Tom) Wright of Atikokan; a son Donald Wright of McCauley Lake Resorts; ten nieces, Tracey, Lyrae, Deanna, Shirley, Kendra, Kim, Debra, Cindy, Shawna, and Janet; five nephews, Gregory, James, Kurt, Shane and lastly, Rory (Babes) Wright of Atikokan who supported and invested much of his time and energy into helping Margaret and Edward; grandchildren, Dylan, Taylor, Dietrich, Merissa (Colin), Riley, Maleigha (Nick), Eugene, and Ian; one great granddaughter, Raelynn.

In addition to Edward, she was pre-deceased by her parents; in-laws Donald & Laura (Armstrong) Wright; a sister, Bernice Hegland, a brother, Bernard O'Beirn; two brother-in-laws, Lawrence Hegland and Vernon Wright.

Cremation has taken place; as per her wishes, there will be no funeral service held. In lieu of flowers, donation to the Atikokan General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
