Michael Shutey Dale Shute

Mike is survived by his loving wife Shelley Shute (née Jourdain); mother Marcia Shute (née Sonderman); daughters Michelle Shute (Ryan McAleer) and Jessica Shute (Michael Ferber); brother Larry Shute (Christine); mother-in-law Annabelle Jourdain; sisters-in-law Sherry Jeffers (Curtis) and Dana Doyle (Kevin); brothers-in-law Shawn Jourdain (Amanda) and Shane Jourdain (Jennifer); many couisns, nieces, and nephews; the Sha Sha, golf, and sledding crews. He was predeceased by his father Harvey Shute; brother Patrick Shute; grandparents Jess and Violet Mae Sonderman; grandparents Bill and Mary Tremblay; niece Katie Shute; and father-in-law Russell Jourdain.

Mike was born January 28, 1955 to Harvey and Marcia Shute in Baudette, MN. He married the love his life, Shelley, in Fort Frances on March 21, 1981. He loved spending time on his boat, going to Sha Sha, golfing, riding his snowmobile, and spending time with his wife, Shelley.

A celebration of Mike's life will be held Thursday July 7, 2016 at his family home at 463 Russell Rd. off Five Mile Dock Rd. from 1:30-4:30 p.m. followed by a gathering at Sha Sha Resort at 6:00 p.m.
