Shirley Rosemary Shane

It is with great sadness that the family of Shirley Rosemary Shane announces her passing on Monday, November 23, 2020 at her home in Atikokan. Shirley was born on January 1, 1939 in Hnausa, MB to John and Rosa Machura.

Shirley was predeceased by her parents, husband Micheal Shane, son Michael Shane, and sister Jacqueline Morrel.

She leaves behind her son Jordy Shane and his daughter Sophia; daughter Beverly Glocke and her husband Gary; grandchildren: Erica, Alexander, and Maria Glocke, Amanda and Jessica Kelash; Myk and Trevor Shane; and brothers Roger and his wife Velma Machura and Frank Tucker as well as many great grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place and due to COVID 19 restrictions the family is going to wait to have a celebration of life when everyone is able to gather together.

She was someone who always had a smile to share and love to offer… someone who’s kindness has brightened our days in so many ways. She will be truly missed.
